Speakers

We are so pleased to have these wonderful speakers with us this year.

John Mark Comer

John lives in Portland, OR, with his wife Tammy and their three kids – Jude, Moses and Sunday. He is the pastor for teaching and vision at Bridgetown Church, right in the center of the city. Their church is built around the very simple idea of practicing the way of Jesus, together, in Portland. They believe that the way of Jesus is exactly that, a way of life.

John is also the author of a few books: My Name is Hope, Loveology, Garden City, God has a Name, and his newest: The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry.  He has a Masters Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary, and is currently at work on a Doctorate in Spiritual Formation through Fuller Seminary and the Dallas Willard Center.

John and Debby Wright

John & Debby are the National Directors of the Vineyard movement and have been serving together in pastoral ministry since 1990. John initially trained and worked for a number of years as a jeweller before studying at London Bible College. Debby lived in Chile until she was 13 and later moved to Nottingham to train as a dancer and artist.

They first got involved with the Vineyard movement in 1982 and in 1987 they spent 8 months as interns at Anaheim Vineyard (under John Wimber the leader of the Vineyard Movement in the USA). Following their time at Anaheim they returned to England to help John and Eleanor Mumford start the first UK Vineyard in London. They worked at South West London Vineyard for 9 years before moving back to Nottingham to set up Trent Vineyard.

In September 2015 they became the National Directors of Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland, whilst also continuing to lead Trent Vineyard.

Taryn Freeland

Taryn, together with her husband Chuck, leads Catalyst Vineyard a multisite church in the North East of Scotland. Her loves include the local church, raising leaders, their three kids and her dog Teddy as well as balsamic vinegar crisps and smoked salmon.

Brian Blount

Brian Blount has spent the last twenty years equipping and training individuals, teams and churches in healing, power evangelism and prophetic ministry within the US, Europe, and South Africa. He is the author of Putting Jesus on Display with Love and Power and has been featured in the documentary, The Voice: Christ in You. Brian and his wife, Jeanine, are senior pastors of Crestwood Vineyard Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where they live with their six children (including triplets).
